WeTravel & Trip Information

• All your trip details will be updated on the app. Timings and updates will be provided closer to departure.

• Avoid printing your itinerary as it may change—use the app for real-time updates.

Flights

• Flight tickets with your booking reference and name will appear online, which must be checked for accuracy.

• GoPlay can correct names up to 72 hours before departure.

• Online check-in opens 24 hours before departure. While some teams prefer to check in at the airport together, it is not recommended to change seats as they’re assigned to a group

• Seating is controlled by the airline, and while GoPlay cannot guarantee seats together, you can adjust seating 24 hours before departure or at the airport.

• Upgrades to business or first-class are unavailable through GoPlay; contact the airline directly for upgrades.

• When accessing your booking online, you can add frequent traveler, TSA, and Global Entry.

Baggage / Packing List

• Each traveler can check one bag (50 lbs.), carry one bag, and bring a personal item. Check with the airline for details on the specific weight/size.

• Pack essentials like uniforms and extra clothes in your carry-on in case of luggage delays.

Hotels & Rooming

• Room assignments are based on your registration or school/club preferences. Parents paying for single rooms will have it honored, while players traveling without a parent will share a room with teammates.

• Players will share twin rooms, never sharing beds. Depending on the hotel, family rooms may consist of two rooms.

Meals

• GoPlay prioritizes eating at local restaurants, except for late arrivals or pre-game meals.

• Dietary requirements should be updated on your WeTravel site and confirmed with your tour manager on arrival to ensure proper accommodations.

Tour Manager

• A GoPlay tour manager will be with you 24-7. We will share their information 24-48 hours before departure.

Currency

• The most common form of payment will be via contactless credit card payment.

• Cash—In Spain and Portugal Euros (€) are used. We do not want you to have a lot of cash on hand, but having some money for small purchases, such as water at a local store, can be nice.

• Mastercard and Visa cards are standard in Europe. If AMEX and Discover are your primary card sources, we recommend a backup. They are only 75% covered in Europe.

Staying Connected

• During the tour, the group will communicate via WhatsApp.

• We recommend purchasing a compatible converter for the country you are visiting to use your electronics and chargers.

• Check your cell phone plan to see if it includes international data. We recommend purchasing a plan before you leave to stay connected during the trip.
